Cindy Crawford's Beauty Products - The Shocking Truth
You know, it seems there's not a day that goes past without seeing yet another advertisement for yet another skin care product claiming to reduce premature aging. In fact, it seems it's now the latest craze for any wannabe celebrity to have their own beauty range.
It stands to reason really when you consider just how much money the beauty industry is worth and everybody even remotely famous seems to want to cash in.
That's why I was surprised to hear that an 'A' rated celebrity such as Cindy Crawford had released her own skin care range. After all, I doubt she needs the money, so I was intrigued to learn more.
Now, after seeing a recent documentary on anti-aging creams I was extremely skeptical about this latest wonder treatment. Especially when a variety of skin care creams were compared like for like and a poll of women agreed that a particular $2.00 cream under test was considered to be just as good as a cream forty times more expensive.
What also caught my eye was that Cindy Crawford's beauty treatments core ingredient utilised a special kind of melon only found in a certain part of remote France.
Apparently, this unique melon has the ability to repel free radicals a lot longer than standard varieties. This basically means that the skin doesn't age at the same rate; therefore, the melon is preserved for longer.
Cindy Crawford has applied the core ingredient of this super melon to her beauty range and Bingo! Meaningful Beauty was borne.
What's also different is that Meaningful Beauty is a multi-part skin care system, and all of the products have been formulated to be used in combination with each other for the best possible results.
The range includes: Gentle Cleanser, Daytime Moisturizer, Night Time Moisturizer, Eye Cream, Facial Mask, and Neck Cream.
But the big question though, is it any good?
In a word YES, it's very good. The entire range is as good a beauty treatment as we've tested, and believe me I'm as shocked as anybody, considering, and I may be over simplifying things here, that a melon can actually make you look younger?
What's more, you'll see visible results in just a few short days of use, and she'll also offer you a money back guarantee if you're not totally satisfied. This is great news for anybody looking to achieve younger looking skin and worried about buying a product that doesn't work.
However, I doubt you'll be looking for a refund as I'm sure you'll be amazed at the results just like I was.

Franschhoek Offers Classic Styles In South Africa
Nestled in a fertile valley and ringed by majestic mountains, Franschhoek may appear to be merely a picturesque rural village, yet this is the food and wine heartland of South Africa and one of the premier destinations in the world of wine.
The spectacular scenery of this beautiful valley, where vineyards stretch across the mountain slopes and mighty oaks tower over original Cape Dutch farmhouses, nurtures this peaceful settlement that tells a colorful history.
History
When the Edict of Nantes was revoked in France in 1685, hundreds of Huguenots fled their homeland as Protestantism was outlawed. Of these, 227 arrived at the Cape of Good Hope, seeking refuge. Simon van der Stel, the Dutch governor at the time, led them over what is today the Helshoogte Mountain into the valley beyond and granted many of them farm land there. The valley was first called Olifantshoek (Elephant Corner), reminiscent of the vast numbers of elephants that roamed here freely, but with the settlement of the French Huguenots the name was soon changed to Franschhoek (French Corner).
Their heritage is preserved in the Huguenot Monument, which was erected in 1938 and proudly stands at the top of the village. The engravings speak of their religious persecution, their flight to South Africa, the strength of their belief and the influence they had on the development of the area. Each original Huguenot farm has a unique story to tell and their histories are chronicled in the nearby museum.
Today Franschhoek is one of the top five tourist destinations in South Africa, and an excellent base from which to explore the rest of the astounding world of the Winelands. The Franschhoek Valley is especially known for its tranquil beauty and relaxed atmosphere, the perfect setting to thoroughly enjoy the top class wines produced in this area.
The World of Wines
More than 300 years ago, the French Huguenots saw the potential of this fertile ground and began a wine industry that lives on to this day. Today, members of the Vignerons de Franschhoek (Winegrower's association) continue in this noble tradition and produce some of South Africa's top wines.
From crisp, fruity whites to rich, warm reds, Franschhoek offers all the noble cultivars and classic styles. The valley is especially renowned for its exquisite Cap Classique sparkling wines and ports.
The Franschhoek Valley boasts approximately 20 wine estates, many of which have retained their original French names and lovely Cape Dutch farmsteads. Small boutique wineries appeal to those in search of something unique, while larger estates offer cellar tours and conduct tastings.
The Gourmet Capital
Franschhoek's finer tastes don't end with wine. Leading chefs create internationally acclaimed culinary delights, and eight of South Africa's "Top 100 Restaurants" are in Franschhoek - little wonder that Franschhoek is referred to as the Gourmet Capital of the country. From light meals using the delicious fresh produce of the valley, to the reassuring familiarity of traditional Cape country fare, to the exciting indulgence of world-class French cuisine - Franschhoek offers a meal for every taste and a menu for every pocket. 28 excellent restaurants offer wonderful hospitality and great ambience - and, naturally, each meal is complemented by one of the fantastic local wines.
A Visitor's paradise
Franschhoek not only offers some of the world's finest wining and dining, but also a choice of superb accommodation. Luxurious small hotels, charming guesthouses, stylish self-catering cottages and beautiful B&B's will tempt you to stay in this quaint village. The character of Franschhoek is reflected in the hospitality of the friendly people who live here, and the scenic vineyards, spectacular views and awe-inspiring mountain landscape have long since enchanted the hearts of tourists and locals alike.
A walk down the main street may well take you a day. Coffee shops and restaurants offer taste bud temptations, shops and galleries provide a wonderful choice of antiques and a world-class collection of artworks, and crafts and curio shops sell souvenirs, inviting you to take just a small part of this unforgettable village home with you. There are also specialty shops such as cheese shops and a chocolate factory.
The spectacular mountains surrounding Franschhoek provide the perfect setting for numerous walking trails for the more energetic visitors. The La Motte Forestry Station offers hiking, horse riding, fly-fishing and cycling. Trout fishing is possible in various streams and dams surrounding the village. Experience a wine tour with a difference - on horseback or in a carriage. Local tour guides are available to advise and help you to explore all that the region has to offer.
If you happen to visit Franschhoek during our winter, remember the 14th of July. This is Bastille Day, when the village celebrates its French heritage with a wine and gourmet fair that attracts visitors from near and far.
All in all, the Franschhoek Valley is a truly special destination. With the breathtaking scenery, rich cultural heritage, warm and friendly people and an unrivaled wining and dining experience, what better place to spend some time than in Franschhoek?

Exposed! Cindy Crawford's Beauty Secrets - Flawless Looking Skin in Just Days
It seems not a day goes past where we're not bombarded with the latest and greatest anti aging products that hit the shelves. It amazes me just how many new words are seemingly conjured up by these manufactures to promote these wonder products.
So, are these creams actually miracle cures for aging skin and worth their high price, or is it just clever marketing and we're all being hood-winked?
To find out, we decided to investigate one of the latest skin care products on the market, and what better than a celebrity endorsed skin care treatment. For our test we looked at Cindy Crawford's range of beauty products; after all, I guess every woman would give their right arm to have skin like Miss Crawford's?
What caught our eye right from the start was the core ingredient that the range is built upon. You will be surprised to learn that a rare melon, only found in a remote region of France has been hyped as the answer to youthful looking skin.
What's so unique about this special melon is that it's 'skin' remains fresher for longer compared to a regular melon due to it's ability to repeal free-radicals. As we all know it's these free-radicals which are a major factor in the battle against aging skin.
I'm sure the science is a lot more complicated than this, but basically the skin care system utilises this special melon, and bingo, another miracle beauty product is born.
So, is Miss Crawford's offering any different from the thousands of other products promising pretty much the same thing?
In a word... YES!
The whole range is very good indeed, but in particular we especially liked the skin softening cleanser. Unlike other treatments twice as expensive it actually makes your skin velvet-soft whilst deep cleansing it.
It works by means of a unique gently cleanse system that eradicates skin impurities, and this is the clever bit, without starving your skin of it's essential natural oils. The upshot to all this is your skin is beautifully refreshed and totally clean without the common symptoms of being tight or dry.
We were extremely skeptical at first that Cindy Crawford's beauty treatment range was going to be just another celebrity putting their name to a product that didn't offer the consumer anything really different. Especially, when we learned that the underlying core ingredient is a melon.
Just goes to show how wrong you can be...

Hottest Celebrity Workouts
Celebrities work hard to stay in peak shape for the camera. Many have their own personal trainers while others are following a strict diet with plenty of exercise.
* Oprah Winfrey used the "Total Body Makeover" from personal trainer Bob Greene.
* Lauren Graham does four-mile runs on the treadmill.
* Kristie Alley lost more than 50 pounds on the Jenny Craig plan.
* Jennifer Garner of Alias enjoys martial arts workouts and....
* Halle Berry follows a nutrtition and fitness routine known as 5-Factor Fitness.
Celebrities such as Reese Witherspoon, Julianne Moore, and Meg Ryan follow the teachings of Hollywood's most sought after fitness expert: Michael George. In fact, Michael has helped sculpt some of the best bodies in Hollywood.
However, his programs are certainly not for the weak of heart. To get an actress ready for the big screen, he perscribes a strict diet, five days of weight training per week and six days of cardio.
Like many of today's nutritional experts, he promotes eating five small meals per day versus two or three large meals. By eating every three hours, the metabolism is put into overdrive, helping the body to burn fat at an optimal level.
Other fitness celebrities swear by the power of Pilates. Rebecca Romijin is one of them. In fact, she's been doing Pilates for the past seven or eight years. She also works the treadmill and the elliptical machine for about 40 minutes each.
Julia Roberts shed much of her extra weight after pregnancy with regular Pilates workouts. Other celebrities using this incredible workout routine include Madonna, Sharon Stone, Jennifer Anniston and many more.
One of the most popular celebrity fitness trainers is Kathy Kaehler, who has trained the likes of Julia Roberts, Jennifer Aniston, Cindy Crawford, Claudia Schiffer, Ellen Degeneres, and others.
To get Julia Roberts ready for her role in America's Sweethearts, Kathy designed a program centered around strength training, Yoga, and Pilates.
Kathy Kaehler also helped Drew Barrymore get in peak shape for her role
in Charlie's Angels.
Although exercise is certainly an important part of staying in peak shape. You will never reach your fitness goals without proper nutrition. While starring in the popular TV show "Friends", Jennifer Anniston chose the Zone Diet to look her best on screen.
The Zone diet was created by Dr. Barry Sears and promotes eating a ratio of 40% carbohydrates, 30% protein, and 30% fat. He advises you choose low-starch fruits and vegetables as your carbs and lean protein sources as well as healthy fats. Pork and red meat are certainly not on this menu.
So, do these whole foods and healthy portions work? I'd say so, and I think Jennifer would agree, along with other celebrities who have used this diet, including Renee Zellweger and Cindy Crawford.
However, keep in mind that not every body is the same. Some have a lower tolerance of carbohydrates and may have to limit their carbs more than
others. The key is finding out what works for you and forming good habits that last a lifetime.
OK, so how about the men? They are also working hard to keep their bodies camera-ready. However, their workout routines look very different from
the women.
Let's take Bruce Lee as an example. He not only has an incredible physique, but also incredible strength and style. Here is one of his favorite workout routines:
Shoulders
Clean and presses: 2 sets, 8 reps
Lats
Barbell pullovers: 2 sets, 8 reps
Biceps
Barbell curls: 2 sets, 8 reps
Chest
Bench-presses: 2 sets, 6 reps
Lower Back/Glutes/Hams
Good mornings: 2 sets, 8 reps
Quads
Squats: 2 sets, 12 reps
Abs
Waist Twists: 4 sets, 90 repetitions
Sit up Twist: 4 sets, 20 repetitions
Leg Raises: 4 sets, 20 repetitions
Leaning Twist: 4 sets, 50 repetitions
Source: http://www.askmen.com/sports/bodybuilding/58_fitness_tip.html
Bruce Lee would perform this weight-lifting workout every other day while filling the rest of his time with stretching and aerobics.
And then there's LL Cool J. Certainly a very different style than Bruce Lee, but his physique is incredible. What's the answer to his huge biceps and ripped abs?
Hard Work......
LL Cool J does lots of cardio, weightlifting and boxing. He also works in lots of pushups and a lot of running. In fact, he's running 12 miles per
day.
Although you don't have to go to these extremes to stay slim and fit. A healthy lifestyle certainly requires dedication. Healthy habits are the key to a lifetime of fitness, energy, and vitality.

Ayurvedic, Dietary Treatment for Moles
Mole or nevus is a general term to describe several spots or blemishes that may occur on the skin. Moles are of vastly different kinds - in some people the moles may be of the color of the skin itself, while in others they could be red, tan, brown or even black. Moles could be tiny spots on the skin, or they could be large warty outgrowths on the skin. Some moles could be present from birth (typically known as birthmarks), while some could appear later on in life due to specific circumstances.
Generally, moles are not dangerous. Almost all people of the world have moles on their skins at different places. But in rare instances, moles can turn into melanomas, which are cancerous tumors on the skin. Such cancerous moles will undergo various changes in their appearance. Their color will darken. Such moles need to be surgically or cosmetically removed. Moles that are constantly irritated by clothes, belts, buckles and shoes have a high chance of getting converted into melanomas, and so also moles that are exposed too much to the hot sun could become cancerous. But these are rare incidences. Only if there is some inexplicable change in the shape, size or color of the mole would you need medical attention.
Moles can actually be used to one's advantage. People like Cindy Crawford and Madonna flaunt their moles and use it as a means to increase their sex appeal. However, moles can be ungainly on some people. For people who want to remove their moles by non-surgical methods, there are various options available.
(1) Useful Herbs in the Treatment of Moles
1. Dandelion (Taraxacum officinale)
Dandelion is extremely effective in the removal of warty moles. The root of the dandelion must be rubbed on the mole till the time its juices exude and smear the mole completely. Repeating this twice or thrice a day helps to remove the moles.
2. Flaxseed or Linseed (Linus usitatissimum)
Flaxseed has been used since traditional times for the treatment of moles. It is directly applied over the moles in a particular manner. Within a few days the moles do disappear.
3. Garlic (Allium sativum)
Garlic is also a good remedy for moles. It is crushed into a paste and applied on the moles for a few days.
4. Onion (Allium cepa)
Some warty moles can disappear when the juice of an onion bulb is rubbed over them. However this method is not guaranteed and may work only on smaller moles.
(2) Dietary Treatments for Moles
Potassium is very beneficial to people who wish to get rid of their moles. Apples contain a high proportion of potassium, especially in the form of apple cider vinegar. Other fruits that contain potassium are avocado, cantaloupe, bananas and grapefruit. Potatoes, lima beans, kidney beans, mushrooms, tomatoes and spinach are also good sources of potassium.
There is no relation that any kind of food increases moles in people. Hence, there are no dietary contra-indications for moles.
(3) Home Remedies for Moles
1. Prepare a mixture of finely ground flaxseed in flaxseed oil. Add a dash of raw honey to the mixture. Apply this on the moles everyday. Within a couple of weeks, the moles fade and disappear.
2. Cut a pineapple and apply its fresh juice on the moles. Repeat this several times in a day. This is a quick method to get rid of the moles. Within just a couple of days, the moles will diminish and fade out.
3. The above method can also be done with the juice of a fresh fig instead of a pineapple.
4. Put a single drop of grapefruit juice on a cloth and tie it like a bandage on the mole. Change the bandage every five to six hours.
5. The juice of cauliflower can help the moles to drop off, especially if they are thicker warty moles. Apply the juice of a single cauliflower floret several times a day onto the mole. In about two to three days, the mole will likely fall off from the skin.
6. Honey by itself has curative properties to remove moles. Apply some honey onto the moles each morning.
7. Prepare a mixture of powder of dried and roasted pomegranate peel and juice of a lemon. Apply this mixture onto the moles for a few days in succession. The moles will eventually fade out and vanish, or they will directly fall off the skin.
8. If you already have moles, and do not wish to remove them, then be sure not to irritate the moles with your clothing or even by excessive exposure to the sun. If you do so, there is a risk that the mole will become cancerous. However if there is some definite change in the mole, then it is on its way to becoming cancerous. It must be removed immediately.
