Aerobic Exercise is Not Just For Women

Aerobic exercise is for men and women. The idea that aerobics is just for women is due to a stereotype and nothing more. It originated during the 1980's when fitness started to become the in-thing. The latest craze was aerobics classes that were taught by women, and thus had women students. They went to their aerobic exercise classes with the leotards, stockings, and leg warmers. Due to the popularity of aerobic exercise and dieting, their associated clothing articles also showed up in music and other popular culture! However, the female and male roles between what was acceptable and what was not acceptable were still remnant from the 1950's. They had only changed form. Men worked out in the gym, and women went to aerobic exercise classes.

The old days of aerobic exercise being just for women is over! Exercise is exercise, and that's it. Women participate in weight training, body building, and even martial arts! All of these were once male only sports or competitions. The same can be said of men when it comes to aerobic exercise. There are no more sexual connotations made about a man that enrolls in any form of aerobics class. What is the reason for this change? The reason is that men that have taken these aerobics classes finally found out how difficult aerobic exercise classes truly are!

Aerobic exercise is on of the best high impact cardiovascular exercises that you can do for your body. To be able to continuously conduct an active aerobic exercise program for an entire hour is not an easy endeavor. There are a lot of aerobic exercise class first-timers that have to cut the class short, or even take several breaks. The eventual result, by maintaining attendance in the class and program, is that you will achieve the ability to complete an entire aerobic exercise class without feeling that you're about to either cough up a lung, or pass out from exhaustion. Your endurance will build itself up to much higher levels, and you will notice its elevation when you do other activities which require endurance.

Is aerobic exercise for you? Before taking on and sudden changes in diet or exercise, you should always consult your physician. They will help you to understand whether or not you should participate in an aerobic exercise class or not. If you have a history of respiratory or cardiovascular problems, they may recommend that you don't participate. Breathing hard and elevated heart rates are mandatory for aerobic exercise. Also, high impact exercise can me murder on your joints. Any severe joint injuries can definitely impede upon that endeavor. All of this will become apparent when they conduct your physical during your normal annual checkup. Take your doctor's advice, whatever it may be, and, if you're given a clean bill of health, enjoy getting and staying fit through aerobic exercise!

Lose Weight Nice and Slowly

You remember that last time we talked about the Body Mass Index? Your body weight, divided by the square of your height in inches multiplied by 703. We worked out that if you weighed 200 lbs., at a height of 5 feet 8 inches, then you bordered on the obese.

Now you must decide what you want to do. Carry on as you are, in which case you'll probably end up becoming morbidly obese, or decide once and for all to lose weight. I know I keep repeating myself, but go to your doctor first for a check-up. It isn't going to do you any good if you start to exercise when you have a weak, or otherwise defective, heart.

Let's assume that all's well, that basically you're perfectly healthy and that there's nothing to stop you from a weight loss programme. But don't go bull at a gate at it. Lose weight nice and slowly.

Believe it or not, it all starts with the mind. Decide first what you want to look like. Grab hold of some women's magazines and go through them. If you're a man, do the same thing, only don't decide you want to look like Cindy Crawford! Seriously, look at photos of various men who are in good shape, choose one, and hold that image in your mind.

The same if you're a woman. Decide on the body type you want, and hold the image in your mind. Whenever you're sitting somewhere quietly, bring the image to mind and concentrate on it. Set a goal, by all means. In one year, I'm going to look like her/him.

Have a very good, honest look at what you eat. If you're scoffing down hamburgers and chips everyday, then I'm afraid they must go. You'd be wise to ask the doctor for a diet sheet. This should include plenty of fresh fruit, (some people say that tinned fruit's all right, but the danger here is the sugar in the syrup. That you can well do without).

Lots of veggies, good protein, but not more than 15% of your total diet. Cut out the alcohol and soft drinks, especially what they like to call the diet drinks. They're probably the worst of all.

Then have a look at your physical activities, if any. Let's assume your aerobics consist of brushing your teeth. Apart from that, it's couch time with the remote.

So you must devise some form of exercise plan. Yes, exercise. I'm sorry, but without it you aren't going to go very far. Do you remember we talked of 'negative energy balance?' To lose weight, you must use more energy than you're consuming in food. If it's the other way round, then on go the pounds.

But lose weight nice and slowly. Use the stairs, not the lift. Try going for short walks in the evening. Develop a plan. You'll walk for a certain distance for two weeks, and then you'll extend the distance. But don't write anything in stone.

Family problems are bound to crop up from time to time, and you won't be able to go for your walk, or later your run.

Don't work yourself into a state about it. Just keep your eyes on the prize

Increase Your Conditioning, Increase Your Cardio

Many people think that conditioning is just cardiovascular work. However, to have complete conditioning, one must have not only cardio, but also muscular conditioning, strength conditioning, and power conditioning.

So, how to train these different modes of conditioning?

There are several different ways you could train each of these qualities individually, but there is a good way that you can get a better "bang for your training buck".

Circuits (also called "complexes") can do train all three at once. Circuits are pretty simple - just perform several exercises back to back with no rest. Now, when you hear the word "circuits" you might conjure up ideas of somebody doing endless reps on an old chrome universal weight machine, wearing some sort of '70 jumpsuit. Nothing could be further from the truth.

The types of circuits I'm talking about are done with barbells, dumbbells, medicine balls, and/or bodyweight exercises. These circuits can either be done very high volume with several exercises, lighter weight, and higher reps to tax muscular conditioning. Or, they can be done with a medium number of exercises (say 4-6), heavier weights, and medium reps (say 6-8). This will tax not only muscular conditioning, but will tax strength/power conditioning more. Both will greatly tax cardio conditioning simply because you're doing so much work without resting.

Another way is to do single, alternating-limb exercises. These are best done with full-body exercises, and, because of the nature of the method, heavier weights can be used, with higher reps. For example, take the Dumbbell (DB) Clean & Press. Grab a heavy DB, and Clean & Press it with your left arm. Set it down, and grab it with your right hand. Clean and Press. Set it down and grab with your left. Keep repeating until you do 20-30 reps per side. This allows you to keep your form tight, use high volume, and use a much heavier weight that if you were doing 20-30 reps consecutively. This method will tax not only strength/power conditioning, but muscular and cardio conditioning as well.

Probably the most beneficial aspect to these types of circuits is that they are such great cardio workouts. You get as much - or more - cardio benefit as you would any sort of "traditional" cardio (jogging, various machines, interval training, etc.), but you never have to do any direct cardio workouts. All the extra cardio you get is simply a by-product of all the work you're doing.

Train Hard, Rest Hard, Play Hard.

Tips on Plantar Wart Removal

Any scratching or other physical mistreatment to the wart can cause it to break and the wart to build up.  The remains and blood of a physically injured wart is very contagious because it still carries the virus that causes the wart - Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) so it can spread on the outside or in the inside of the skin.  You could even contaminate another person.  Holding back the need to yank the wart out is your first step to plantar wart removal.

Treatments for plantar wart removal vary on the gravity of the problem.   It may be that the affected spot is injected with immunotherapeutic medications for extreme cases.  Nevertheless, there are a lot of situations where non-prescription drugs were applied to the wart and it disappeared.

Freezing the Wart

If you have a plantar wart and had sought a doctor, your wart will be given a few drops of liquid nitrogen.  Liquid nitrogen contains compressed gas (it can either be dimetyl ether or propane mix), and an applicator.  Once applied to the wart, you will feel a frostbitten spot on your skin.  This spot will have the dead cells to disintegrate and can be easily removed within a day or so.  This can be done repeatedly depending on the wart.  Nevertheless, plantar wart can be deeply rooted in the tissues of the skin, thus requiring repeated application of the liquid nitrogen.

The Use of Chemicals

The use of chemicals can either hit the cells and render them lifeless or totally kill them.  There are those which require a prescription as they give the cells a chemical blow to totally destroy the wart.  Nevertheless, a prescription is not needed for most chemical wart treatments.  One of these and is considered the most popular one is the Salicylic Acid.

The chemical normally graze the wart so the dead cells are blown off from the surface so as not to break the skin nor to have any type of cut or wound.  The use of any sharp objects is a complete no-no!  Once salicylic acid is applied, the wart will dry up and a white coating will be seen on the top of the wart.  The white layer can be removed after one day or two by stripping it off.  You need to repeat the procedure until the plantar wart removal is complete.   It has been reported that about 70% of this treatment was successful.  However, you must be careful in doing this procedure.

In conclusion, do not submit yourself to any kind of treatment that will only aggravate the matter and hurt you as well.  Seek proper help and get plantar wart removal immediately.  You can find these online or in a prominent drug store.

Doctor Shopping - 5 Mistakes You Don't Want to Make

No one wants to go through the process of finding a doctor only to discover that you made the wrong choice! Here are some mistakes to avoid and save yourself aggravation, time and money.

Mistake #1: Don't take the easy way out. This is one time that looking in the phone book and "letting your fingers do the walking" could work against you.

The yellow pages (business section of the phone book) or any local guidebook can be a valuable resource for information about doctors and healthcare professionals, but don't stop there. Keep going. Make the effort to do a thorough research.

* Promotion? Solicitation? Sometimes we notice that sponsoring hospitals and medical groups promote new physician arrivals and upcoming retirements. Even so, most professionals do not advertise personally or aggressively. That type of self-promotion is frowned upon by the medical community.

If you receive a direction solicitation, question a) the source and b) the motive. This may be a legitimate offer by a caring, skilled individual; it may not. Flyers, giveaways, special promotions and eye-catching ads can be the easiest and quickest ways for newly arrived professionals to get started in a community, but be careful not to "jump." Don't be easily persuaded (a.k.a. gullible) when it comes to healthcare. Be a good consumer and do your homework, exactly like what you would do when replacing a home appliance or buying a car.

* Before you choose a doctor, ask your friends and family for referrals. Word-of-mouth is the best advertising and that fact applies here, too. Ask questions of real people who you know and trust. This is an especially important part of the process if you are aware of your ailment and are seeking a specialist. Don't forget to ask the professionals you know for referrals, too, i.e. your General Practice physician, mental health therapist or massage therapist.

* Before choosing any healthcare provider, take a moment to see if your decision feels right in your gut. When a person seems unapproachable, he or she probably is. If another seems too friendly and tries to sell you the proverbial "store" before asking about your problem, expect the same-- lots of pressure to buy goods or services. You want and deserve someone who relates to and cares about YOU!

*Before accepting the products or services of a health provider whom you find on the internet, check out a) his or her credentials, b) customer/ client testimonials and c) other written work, i.e. reports, digital downloads (e-books) and published works. You may find a great new source for healing, but it pays to be careful.

(Note: I once visited a specialist who I hoped would help me with tough symptoms of Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. During the first few seconds of standing in front of him, he declared that he did not believe in my illness. Now I ask you, how could a doctor not believe in actual physical conditions? Recognized, researched, medical-profession-accepted physical conditions? The answer lies not only in his disbelief and personal bias, but also in the way in which he approached me! Very poorly! Needless to say, I did not return to that doctor. I found someone else who would listen to my concerns and who had an open mind. (Hint: if I had checked out this physician more thoroughly before the visit, I might have discovered his "opinion," and thus not wasted my time and money.)

Mistake #2: Don't look at professional credentials alone.
Investigate and consider what the professional's background may mean to the outcome of your healthcare situation. Decide if you can take advantage of his or her services and the accompanying resources, i.e. a surgeon specializing in cardiac by-pass surgery. If you don't need the procedure, don't go to that type of physician and expect complete wellness care! Sounds elementary, but it is amazing how many people go to a specialized physician and then are surprised when the physician offers their specialty medical care as the best answer!

Mistake #3: Don't overlook professional credentials either.
The professional who you use only has a few things to offer you: education, training, experience, personal care and intuition. If you choose well (such as someone with specialized ELT training; see below), you may open up the possibility of receiving valuable information and services that you would not get by going anywhere else. It is worth your time to check out these issues before making an appointment and choosing someone with fewer credentials and services.

Mistake #4: Don't allow someone else to make this important choice for you.
You really need a good doctor; you have to live with your choice. If you relinquish this medical decision to someone else, you may not get the result you desire.

Get involved at the very beginning of the process. Do your homework. Express your desire of what you want to find in a professional. You have the right to expect good medical care. It may not happen if you choose the wrong person.

Mistake #5: Don't settle for an easy answer. This point needs little explanation, yet every day people allow this to happen because

* a) they feel too bad physically or mentally {i.e pain, brain fog, etc.}

* b) they make excuses for what they can and cannot do- or -

* c) they are desperate and choose the first thing (person) that comes along.

If you have trouble making a good choice about a health professional, ask family and friends for help. They can assist you. You do not have to go through this process alone. People who care for you want you to get the help that you need. Plus, you want good quality care so do this right!

Bonus Tip 1: If there are no family members or close friends to help, ask for assistance from a church or community/ government agency, i.e. League of Older Americans. Somehow... somewhere there are people who will help if you ask.

Bonus Tip 2: Check out the local medical society for complaints and actions pending about particular individuals.

Your healthcare is likelier to begin and end well if you make good, sound decisions.

Wii Fit - The Aerobic Exercise Alternative

I usually hate video games. I just have no interest in them at all! But Wii Fit isn't really a video game like any other. It's really like having your own personal trainer in a way except I've had my own personal trainer in real life and I actually prefer the Wii Fit version because it's more fun!

Wii Fit really does make exercise fun (has hard as that is to imagine.) It turns it into a game. You'll end up doing the "rhythm boxing" or the "hula hoop" (two examples of the aerobic "games") for hours just because you want to beat your friend's score (yes it keeps track of everyone's scores.)

It includes aerobics, yoga, strength training, and balance games. I mostly do the aerobics and yoga myself. The balance games are really fun too actually but I don't think they give as good of a workout as the aerobics part.

One of the really cool things about the Wii Fit is that it keeps track of everything you do and how much you weight. This is really excellent if you are trying to lose weight. It keeps you from going "off course" if you are weighing in every day.

But the main reason I think it's so great is just flat out that it's fun. Making exercise fun definitely makes it a lot easier to find the motivation to exercise. Heck, sometimes I'm having so much fun with this that I don't even want to stop. I "play" it for hours sometimes. Compare that to riding a stationary bike or running on a treadmill. I've never wanted to keep on doing that. It's no comparison really. I plan on cancelling my gym membership and just using the Wii Fit instead. In the long run it'll actually save me money too.

The Exit Interview - How to Handle It, What to Expect

As a career coach, I'm used to hearing questions related to job interviews and how to land a position you want. But every once in a while, someone wants to know about the "exit interview." This is a great question because the exit interview is an important part of the career transition process. It's your chance to leave a final, positive impression on your way out the door and on to new horizons. Here are some questions and answers, below to help you think about and prepare for the exit interview.

Why would a company want to interview you if you're leaving?

For many companies, an exit interview is part of standard human resources legal procedures. Its purpose is to file a complete employee history. The answers to the interview questions are recorded in order to clarify and document the reasons why the employee is leaving the company. This way, the organization can avoid a potential discrepancy between termination and voluntary resignation, should the question arise in the future.

Many "forward-thinking" companies have adopted what is known as the "360-degree" exit interview, where not only is the employee's performance evaluated, but she/he is also given a chance to analyze/critique his manager and/or coworkers in the department. In this way, a company is able to gain insight into organizational dynamics, productivity, and areas that need to be improved.

What's a good way to prepare for the exit interview?

Jotting down a few notes in advance often helps. Practice stating what your issues or concerns were without finger-pointing or assigning blame to any one particular person. When the time comes, ask your employer or the human resources representative who will be handling your departure process whether this will be a 360-degree interview - and if not, is it possible to request one. Then, ask yourself: how can you make the feedback constructive as opposed to derogatory? For example, if you felt lost and like your job description and responsibilities were unclear, you can say something like "I needed more direction, this wasn't a fit for me because I was unsure of my role on projects xyz."

If there is a question of abuse or harassment, there will likely be a paper trail assuming you have pursued the matter. In this case, you may want to seek advice from your lawyer on how to best handle this interview, what to say and what to hold back until further action is taken.

What types of things are appropriate to reveal during your exit interview, and what should you avoid doing or saying?

If you're asked point-blank for feedback, give it. And do it in a way that doesn't make the employer feel like he or she is in the wrong. Focus on how the situation can be made better, and offer possible solutions. This will help set a positive tone and prevent you from leaving people with an unfavorable impression of you that could tarnish your professional reputation.

And consider this - how well will they take feedback, or a complaint? If your gut instinct tells you that your honesty won't be well-received, then just ask yourself: what's the benefit to me of providing the feedback? If it is important to you, go for it. You have to be the judge. Go with your instinct a bit here.

If you know that there's an exit interview in your near future, keep in mind that old saying, "Don't burn your bridges!" No matter what the situation is at your job, it's always best to take the high road and leave things on a positive note. You never know what the future holds in store and honestly, when you'll need a recommendation from your previous employer.

Herbal Mole Removal - Remove Moles Naturally

Once considered blemishes, today some strategically placed moles can be deemed beautiful; a classic example is the famous mole on the equally famous face of Cindy Crawford. Though the fact that she recently got the mole removed should tell you that hardly any individuals appreciate these irritating dark spots. Then, there are normal people like us who inevitably have to put with these ungainly blemishes on the most bothersome areas of our faces.

Fortunately, there is respite for people who will like to remove unsightly moles. Here is a look at the numerous options available and what makes herbal mole removal the most suitable choice.

The most options that you have to remove moles

There are two ways to get rid of moles, you could either select intrusive and usually costly non-natural options or you could go for herbal mole removal. Some of the procedures and their pros and cons are:

Surgery: The process is quite invasive and could end up costing you a few thousand dollars with at least $150 to $200 paid for every visit to the dermatologist. Because the procedure involves cutting out the mole, scarring is always a possibility; though, there is no pain associated with this procedure

Laser: In this form of treatment high intensity lasers are utilized to burn the underlying nerves and tissue so that the mole can be removed; however, there is danger of burn wounds in this procedure. Also, there is always the possibility of developing new moles in different parts of the body.

Liquid Nitrogen: This is not a particularly intrusive process; however, it can be painful since it is conducted without anaesthesia. Also, you will have to see the dermatologist at least for 2 sessions to get visible results.

Herbal mole removal solutions: These topical preparations are by far the best and inexpensive solution against obstinate blemishes. There are many benefits to using natural mole removal options including creams and homemade remedies such as:

* Ease of use: Most mole removal creams and other topical preparations simply have to be applied to the affected area and you'll be able to see visible results in 3 to 7 days.

* No side effects: Because natural mole removal products are manufactured with the use organic ingredients and herbs; you can be sure that there are no side effects associated with their use.

* Economical: These products including homeopathic preparations can be utilised without consulting with a dermatologist; also most of these products cost less than $100 which makes them extremely cost-efficient.

* No risk: Because there is no surgery or lasers involved in natural mole removal options, there are no risks of scarring and burn wounds.

* Not painful and non invasive: The creams/ointments simply have to be applied like regular ointment on the affected area.

* Easily available: These creams are easily available on-line and offline. Since these products come with a cash back guarantee, you can be sure that your investment is safe.

* Immensely potent and long lasting results: not only would you be able to get rid of the moles fast with these products but even the results will be long lasting and there will be very slim chances of another eruption on any other part of the body.

If you are done hiding the ugly moles on your neck, face and other parts of your body and have spent years being embarrassed, herbal mole removal products would offer you permanent results without burning a hole in your pocket.

Tips to Keep Your Relationship Strong

We don't need to be experts to know that passion and communication in relationships can fade away. Losing interest in one another doesn't have to necessarily mean that it's over. It just means that you have to put in some work to get things back to how it was when you first met.

So, are you willing to let it all fade away or do you want the passion and communication back in your relationship? Here are some pointers to help you get your relationship back to its passionate and communicative best.

Dressing up

Get into the habit of looking your best. Go clothes shopping with your partner; it won't only lead you to be more attracted to each other, it will also help you improve your communication.

Enjoy being nude together

There is no need to panic if you have gained a couple of pounds. Let those clothes rest for a while. Feel comfortable and revel in each other's nudity.

Kissing

Long passionate kisses that lift you high from the ground are absolutely important for keeping things hot in a relationship. Here is a tip - instead of jumping straight to intercourse, why not spend at least half an hour naked under the sheets exploring each other with kisses.

Physical and emotional closeness

Our daily commitments can use up a lot of our time so it's vital to make time for each other. For example, you can take a hot shower together before work or sit in front of the TV and cuddle. The whole point is to relax and enjoy being physically and emotionally close to each other.

Communication

Try to participate in daily activities together, even if it's plain old food shopping. Think about what brought you together in the first place apart from your physical appearance. What are your common interests? Start up a conversation on your common interests when you get home after a long day of work. You can sit on the sofa, cuddle and talk about your day too.

These are just a few tips to consider in your attempt to bring passion and communication back into your relationship. Remember, every single study that has been done on "relationships" has confirmed that love and communication make sex better hence a more passionate and communicative relationship means a more sexually satisfying relationship.

What are you waiting for? Go and enjoy exploring your significant other!

Regular Exercising Can Help You Live a Healthier Life

People know that aerobics is something they want to do because it can help them tone their body. More so, going to aerobics classes enables them to gain new friends and learn a tip or two on how to maintain a sculptured body. The instructor can teach you simple recipes to boost your energy at the same time get optimum vitamins and nutrition out of it. If ever you do not want to enroll yourself in an aerobics class, you can find other ways to exercise and keep that body.

You might have heard of the term aerobic capacity. The description of the person's capability to generate body energy using oxygen is perhaps the best way to define aerobic capacity. It is said that the more oxygen you use, the more you become productive; productive in a sense that you are able to do more because of your oxygen intake. Based on research, higher levels of oxygen intake make you more efficient. In addition, you recover at a faster rate after you engaged in extreme activities like sports and the likes.

Activities like this is something people need to do. When individuals regularly exercise, they do not only strengthen their muscles. They also improve their cardiovascular and heart fitness. Working out routinely also helps in improving blood circulation as well as easier breathing for normal activities. If you were able to improve yourself by maintaining a fitness plan, surely you would see better results after. Just try to follow what you planned so that you would not have any problems doing it every day.

Taking aerobics classes a few times a week really can help you live a healthier life. At least you are also concerned on your body and fitness. Some people would just go on living their life and do not really care what happens to their body. When the body starts to deteriorate, it is only then that persons realize that they should have cared for their body when they still had the chance. Individuals should start eating and living healthy as early as possible. They might not see the results now but when they get older, they will tell themselves that they did the right thing.

Think about it. Even though others define aerobic capacity for you, still you have to make your move to be truly healthy and fit. It might take several weeks or even months before you get the hang of this. Just think of it as something wherein you will reap the rewards when you get older. Studies show that if you live healthy, you will live longer. More so, if you try to stay away from bad habits like smoking and the likes, chances are you will have lesser health problems to think about. The important thing here is that you are preparing for your future. Eating healthy foods while you are still young conditions your body to store or take in plenty of nutrients and minerals that he needs to live longer.

How to Make Him Miss You More - 7 Extremely Good Ways to Make a Guy Feel Super Attracted to You

Whether it's a petty fight over who gets the remote control, or a break-up made possible by jealousy, every good girl knows that the trick to getting her man to miss her is striking the balance between nonchalance and sweetness. Sounds difficult, but it can be done, and in so many ways. Here are seven tips to get your man to miss you so much, he'll be at your door in seconds.

Get over the waterworks. It's completely normal to feel sorry for yourself. After all, didn't you have a honey by your side a few days ago? And now the only two men in your life are named Ben and Jerry, and you've devoured them and now they're gone. It may seem moot, this point, but if you plan on getting your man to look your way again, there is no way you can get seen teary-eyed. Wipe those tears away, and keep telling yourself how gorgeous you are.

This is a time to reconnect with your gal pals. How many girl friends have you put aside when you got into that sweet relationship with your guy? If you haven't burnt bridges yet, now is the time to call them up and treat them to a few drinks. We often forget our friends when we have a new guy in our lives, but the truth is, these friends are the ones who'll hold you down when you feel like floating away in misery. If you don't believe how gorgeous you are, they'll tell you again and again until you believe.

It's time to be an eye candy. You may not be Cindy Crawford, but you'd definitely want to be the kind of girl guys ogle at. You have every right to be, especially if you are targeting one particular guy. Get a luxurious hair treatment, go for a full-body glowing scrub, and go shopping for fab new outfits. You'll love the results. Don't expect others to build your self-esteem, when you can actually do it yourself.

"Hi there! I'm..." Don't be afraid to meet new people. Remember, you're not exactly meeting people to replace the one you're missing. You simply want to indulge in a bigger social circle. The more people you know, the more people there are to appreciate you. New friends are a great way to boost self-esteem. It makes you feel you're interesting as they get to know you better.

Take his call. Casually. When the guy realizes he's missing you, he will muster the courage to give you a call. When you hear from him, never ever squeal in delight. If you must, never do so when he can hear you. Doing so will only tell him you're so ready to take him back. And remember, you want him to miss you enough to really make it right the next time around. So pick up and say hello ever so casually. Entertain the call like a friend and never show him you're upset.

When he gets emotional, that doesn't mean you should too. Guys are given the natural talent to sweet-talk girls. If you keep falling for the first lines of his sweet speech, you'll also keep falling on the losing edge. He needs to know he can't depend on words alone to convince you. This is the perfect time to prove to him your worth. You're not someone who can be bought with words and flowers. Listen to what he's really saying, or what he's not. And if your heart tells you you're not convinced, you probably aren't.

Tell him the take a number. Finally, he wants to ask you out to make it up to you because he's missed you so much. You can sweetly tell him you're busy this week, and he'll have to maybe ask again next time. It will drive him nuts thinking about what you're up to. Of course, it will take a great deal of courage on your end, and a whole lot of self-control. But trust us when we say, the results are so going to be worth it.
